The best way to control garden weeds is to cover the bare earth with wood chips or mulch. It can be obtained at most garden stores. Mulch is available in Cedar, White or Red Pine. If you have any trees or branches you can chip or mulch them with a good quality Chipper/Shredder such as a BearCat. The wood chips or mulch keep the sun from helping the sun loving weeds from developing.
