With Snowmobile trails just starting to open at this later than usual point in time it is important to stay focused. We all get anxious and want to "Just Go" but a word of caution; The fresh new fallen snow has no ice base yet, rocks are only hidden but not covered. Many of us have not used those sledding muscles or senses all season and are a little off of our normal razor sharp reflexes. Keep you 1st ride a good one. Slow down, take it easy, there is no buffer zone of snow cushion if you make mistakes. Many riders are on Brand New equipment that is as yet unfamiliar to them, this only compounds the need to exercise CAUTION to prevent damage and/or injuries.
