Please, check all conditions before heading out. Early in the Season
is the most dangerous time to ride in unfamiliar territory. Ask the local residents
about conditions - they know best. If someone says it is not safe -
IT IS NOT SAFE! Lakes may be open or only partially frozen. Tree stumps and
rocks are barely covered with snow and can cause massive damage or personal
injury. It is best to wait only a few more days until conditions improve. Have a
