Check that rewind starterDec 17/03
While you are sitting around the garage waiting for snow,
go and take a close look at your snowmobiles rewind starter. Check the entire
length of rope for wear or rub through spots. Give it a couple of complete pulls
and try to remember if it feels like it did when it was new. Listen for squeaks
and groans. The best thing is to simply remove it, take it to your work bench
and take it all apart. Clean it, look for wear, and the re-assemble with new
lubricant. Happy sledding.
