Every Outdoor toy needs to be covered when not using
it.
Why? The purpose of a cover is actually sacrificial, you are exposing
the cover material to the elements instead of that expensive Snowmobile or
Watercraft.
Breathable fabrics like Polyester or Canvas are the best.
Plastic covers are defeatist - yes you keep the destructive rays of the Sun off
but you are also trapping moisture underneath. The constant exposure to moisture
will cause rapid corrosion of any metal
parts.
